Rift’s product-facing catch-and-shoot tool is designed to reduce the slow dip before the shot. Follow the current customer setup for the exact supported workflow.
Instant Quickstop
A visible Rift menu setting for moving shots. With Button Rhythm off, the manual input is R2 + Square on PlayStation labels or RT + X on Xbox labels.

Test Quick Stop in 3 steps

Keep shooting mode simple

Choose one Button or Rhythm setup before adding moving-shot options.

Turn on Instant Quickstop

Open the Rift menu, move to Instant Quickstop, enable it and exit with Circle/B to save.

Test one moving input

Use the same movement direction and shot input. Do not change Turbo Shot mode during the comparison.

How Turbo Shots fit in

When Button Rhythm is on, Turbo Shots can be set to Hop Jumper or Turbo Fade. A deliberate R2/RT Turbo Shot takes priority, so decide whether you are testing Quick Stop, Hop Jumper or Turbo Fade before judging the result.
