Step 1: Complete the preflight check

Record the active build profile and the values shown for:

  • Auto Green mode and its active Auto Green MS value.
  • Button Rhythm and Rhythm Speed.
  • Turbo Shots and Instant Quickstop.
  • Dribble Mode and any custom D-pad selections.
  • Release Vibrator and its timing.
  • Infinite Stamina, Dunk Assist, Defense Assist, and Instant Triggers.

Rift V1.1's source defaults include Auto Green set to Button at 590 ms, Button Rhythm off, Rhythm Speed Normal, gameplay assists off, and a purple LED. Treat these as a clean starting state—not as a universal performance recommendation.

Step 3: Connect, test, and document

Follow the current customer connection and load sequence in order. Confirm recognition at each stage instead of connecting everything and diagnosing afterward.

Run one short test with the same build, animation, controller, in-game settings, location, and input routine. Auto Green in V1.1 is a standstill-only path, so keep the test state consistent. Record whether inputs are recognized, when any unexpected behavior begins, and which values were active.

Do not change in-game settings, device settings, Auto Green timing, Rhythm Speed, and assists together. One recorded change is useful; five simultaneous changes hide the cause.

First-session troubleshooting checklist

  • ☐ The intended build profile is active.
  • ☐ The current Rift file is loaded.
  • ☐ The controller and required device path are recognized.
  • ☐ NBA 2K27 settings still match your screenshots.
  • ☐ Auto Green is on the intended mode, not Off or the other mode.
  • ☐ Your test uses a consistent standstill state for Auto Green.
  • ☐ Button Rhythm and Rhythm Speed did not change unexpectedly.
  • ☐ Unrelated assists remain at the recorded state.
  • ☐ Circle/B was used to exit and save.
  • ☐ The menu was reopened to confirm the profile and value persisted.

Capture exact error text and a short recording before restarting or reinstalling. Preserving the problem state gives support more useful information.
